Ben has worked in engineering leadership at several Fortune 100 Companies. He is also an entrepreneur, an executive coach and a technical advisor.

Ben is also a Principal at Wilder Capital, an angel group focused on investing in and advising early stage health & wellness related direct to consumer consumer packaged goods brands.

Before founding Wilder Innovation, Ben was an Engineering Leader at Boxed where he joined as an early engineer, and later took the company public in 2021. While at Boxed, Ben led the Platform Engineering team. Prior to Boxed Ben worked at WPP where he led the analytics & insights engineering team. Prior to WPP Ben worked at J.P. Morgan where he worked in the Chief Investment Office.

Previously, Ben worked at Business Development Advisors in their Agribusiness investment banking group, Alliance Capital Partners in their Energy Investment Banking group, and at Morgan Joseph TriArtisan in their Healthcare Investment Banking Group.

Ben received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance & Business Management from the University of Miami.

Giovanni Galbo

Giovanni Galbo has been a technology enthusiast all his life, having learned to code while on summer break in his sophomore year of high school in the mid-'90s. For some, delivering software is a job; for Giovanni, it's his passion.

Professionally, Giovanni has been in the software development and delivery arena for almost 20 years wearing many hats: as an entrepreneur, an engineer, tech-lead, and has held several architect roles at high-scale SaaS companies. Giovanni has also held senior leadership positions at public companies. He's launched new products and has led highly successful re-platform efforts.

Giovanni received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. John's University and a Master of Science from NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
